Chants for Meditation and Celebration chant book (sheet music) contains seventy-seven chants and liturgical songs suitable for individual use or for prayer, meditation and yoga groups. They are also used widely in worship settings. These simple melodies are reminiscent of traditional Irish, English and Appalachian tunes.
A variety of music is offered in this collection, ranging in
style from quiet and contemplative to joyful and exuberant celebration. The texts were inspired by Biblical scriptures, Christian theology and spiritual-mystic traditions of both the West and East.
Written in inclusive and expansive language, they are accessible in various religious and spiritual settings. They are flexible and can be sung with guitar accompaniment by a few individuals, or by a medium size group with piano accompaniment or in a large congregational setting with organ accompaniment.
The printed music is scored for piano/keyboard with guitar chords. The book is also indexed by subject and the liturgical calendar, Advent-Pentecost. The chant book is available for purchase as a download or a spiral bound and printed book.
