Melodies are reminiscent of Irish and English folktunes or Appalachian and Southern folkhymns. Subtly rhythmic, gently earthy and heart-felt. Many are useful with circle dancing. * The repetition of melody and words allows the mind to relax. Then one can experience more fully the feeling tone of the sound and the imagery of the texts. * This short, repeated form has ancient precedence in many cultures and societies throughout the planet. And indeed, it is a reflection of the spiral nature of the Universe, from the great galaxies to our own DNA. * Audio CDs were recorded by the choir and instrumentalists of Grace St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Tucson AZ, in the Summer of 2000.

Original texts influenced by spiritual and mystical traditions of East and West. They draw upon Buddhist, Sufi, and Native American sources, as well as Christian and Hebrew scriptures. * Mystics quoted or paraphrased include Meister Eckhart, Julian of Norwich, Patrick of Ireland, and Chief Seattle. * Some texts use images from the Western religious tradition but recast them -- bridging from the roots of the heritage toward fresh understandings, speaking with new vitality and meaning to persons living today. * One reviewer in Ireland described the chants as "contemporary, inclusive and ecumenically sensitive."
